Description
This aluminium figure of the Michelin Man standing upon a tyre. Also known as “Bibendum”, the Michelin Man has gone though numerous versions since his introduction in the early 1900’s. This version is an an early one, most likely from around the 1930’s when his features were thinner, and less “cuddly” than later editions. Although most Michelin Men are finished in white, this unique edition is left unpainted, with its attractive polished aluminium construction on full display. The only exception is the iconic sash, which is hand painted in traditional yellow. And standing at 37cm in height, this statue really makes a statement! This is a distinctive interpretation of a much-loved automobilia icon, and is sure to be popular with car enthusiasts everywhere.
